Healing potion designs ✨
Fancy versions, because your character deserves to feel like a star when chugging that sweet sweet life juice
Human Hattie again, this time done for a little project called the DGF Zine (you can find it on Instagram) which is dedicated to a silly little mobile game that I’ve been playing for a long time, and I’ve gotten deeply involved with the community surrounding it which is surprisingly lovely and full of nice people. It seems like a pathetic thing, and maybe it is, but it’s honestly a very nice place for me to go to be separate from everything else, and I’ve made a lot of really good friends and met some really talented artists there. Plus the game itself is incredibly inspiring for me in terms of art and playing with my OCs’ designs. (☞゚∀゚)☞
ANYWAY, I’m actually quite proud of this even with the minimal detail, I think it’s one of my better cel-shaded pieces! This was done for the zine but I also wanted to draw more establishing art of Hattie’s human version.
I *really* wanna make a comic with my characters but I can't find any good ideas so prepare for random character shots
Mandalorian Helmet
Sometimes when I substitute as an art teacher, there are quiet moments where I'm not really needed by the students so I tend to use the time for pencil drawings and the like. I started this one back in November of last year and finished it a few weeks ago. Took me a while to scan it, too, because I couldn't get a good picture with my phone. It's kinda relaxing to just focus on values and texture because colours are still quite the hurdle for me ;n; Also I love the helmet design used by the mandalorians and the clones, in particular the Clone Trooper Phase 1 -helmet is one of my favourites. The traditional Boba Fett -like mask is equally cool tho
Pencils used: Derwent Graphic 6B, 4B, 2B, HB and 2H
